I've been playing S Voice from the Galaxy S3, seems to work fine on my Nexus bar a few commands. I would imagine some are built for the S3, like the "Hi Galaxy" to wake the phone up from sleep, but maybe they can made to work.

I wouldn't say its a must have, but its good for a bit of fun.

I think Samsung started to block other devices except the S3, I've seen some fixes where you edit the build.prop file to tell the app that your phone is an S3.

I think it works like that anyway. Several people have reported it working.

I managed the same thing.

Re-flashed my rom over the top to fix it, copied the build.prop and edited it in windows/pasted it back over. Worked fine that way round, however the app still sucks hard

Ive deleted S Voice, compared to Siri, its not that good and is awfully slow ie takes its time to register when waking up the phone. Plus today getting far too many network errors. Fun app but thats about it really, i think because its for the S3 it probably works better on the S3 than the One X that i have.

Yeah, despite what everyone says about Siri, it's really well implemented, very well polished (especially in the USA) and works very well.

S Voice just feels like a poor knock off.
