No that is just the most recent 6 apps you've opened.

It's also a standard Android feature.

Quick question guys, is there an app that will keep the date shown in the notification area permanently, i would prefer to keep the default date that is shown when you open the notification area.

Thanks in advance

Also does anyone know off an app that monitors the bandwidth usage for wifi and 3G like net counter, I have it installed on my samsung I5700 but it doesn't actually seem to update at all, just shows zero all the time. I also have the data usage widget which seems to do the job well but I rather have an app instead of a widget unless there is a widget for this which actually looks cool :p.

And which web browser do you lot think is the best?

And how can i get the HTC_IME keyboard on my I5700(mobile is not rooted), as I have heard that it is a lot better than androids default one?

Thanks in advance :D.

Haven't tried these myself but here is a link with some guy wanting the same thing as you:

I used to use 3G Watchdog, I found it the best. Haven't used it in a while though...

What am I missing here? I go to create a new sms with handcent click top left icon then hit + symbol I can't start typing to quickly get to name I have to scroll, put a tick to add name then back arrow to get back to sms, surely that's too long winded? :)

You're doing it wrong!

1
Handcent

2
Click new message icon

3
Click the blank "To:" field

4
Begin typing a name and it auto searches contacts like how Google auto suggests

5
Repeat 4 for multiple contacts or click + button to send to a group as well.

I'm not sure you can install the HTC_IME keyboard, it depends if the CPU on your phone is compatible, due to some native language library used.

Just found a really cool app called Orientation lock. Handy for when on your phone lying sideways in bed!

It's just a widget with no running process (good). Annoyingly, the widget is ugly and doesn't fit in with the other android widgets.

Oh and it's free :)

SwitchPro widgets has an orientation lock and it's ever so pretty :)

It costs but is cheap and well worth it as it contains many nice widget switches.

Use tasker, it can do this as well as everything locale does

On launcher pro, how do u make the message icon at the bottom take u to handcent? Also lost some good widgets, struggling to see why people use it. I'll stick with it today see how I get on.
