Essential Android Apps

Is there a decent free app like this for quick reference to my shift pattern. Had a good look already at Google's calender but it's not quite what I'm looking for.

Thanks in advance.

Get the yr.no widget, does exactly the same as the HTC one and is way more customisable.

You now get a popup when you open the yr.no widget that HTC are taking action against them & its been withdrawn from the market till they redesign the look of the clock

I say make it digital. Was never a fan of the HTC-style clock in the first place.

Why are HTC being punkasses? It's not like as if it will affect them since the HTC widget only works in HTC SenseUI launchers anyway.

I guess they see it as drawing people away from SenseUI....

Seems that gameloft have seen sense and changed their download policy for android games. No sign of them appearing on the market though.

Still, their golf game will tide me over until NFS Shift is released next week.

Came across 'Yebisu Music' last night, decent looking UI, quick and easy to browse through music. Shame it's lacking in options the likes of bTunes/MixZing offer.

Edit, just realised this is almost identical to the stock 2.1 music app. Going to see if I can just replace the HTC Music app for the stock android one instead.

RunKeeper......FAIL! Yes, its a nice GUI and stuff but the free one is very limited. Can't share your run, upload to FB, etc.

My Tracks was better in that respect (and more accurate too). Any others I should try?

RunKeeper registered my run to the gym as 1.06 miles. The same run on the way back was .96 miles.....

Fancy Widget is ok, nice and simple and clean but you can't add locations to it. (For instance, I want to know what the weather is like in Florida now as I am going there next week)

Has anyone found a photo enhancing app which is automatic? (auto colour/exposure etc)

I tried picsay which seemed ok but wasn't automatic :(

I think there should be a thread with people's appbrain pages so we can see what others have bought or are using :)

I'm currently using 3G Watchdog to monitor my mobile internet usage on the Desire. Can anyone recommend something which gives similar information but allows you to break down usage by application so I can see what is doing the transfers?
