Ive just trial fine volume control v2, which works, lets you do it % wise and on 2-3% is perfect (incredible waste of noise really when you think about it) but it produces a lot of hissing, noise interference, which I didn't expect. For £1.50 I'd buy it but for that, can't put up with that background noise, can't see why it should be generating it either.

Still fiddling with my S3 lte after coming from a 9900. The one thing I miss is being able to quickly select a sound profile , ie loud, normal, quiet , office etc , is there an app for this ?

Llama allows this and you can also get it to set a sound profile based on location. I have it quiet for work, normal for home

Going back to swift key, the dictionary disabled in trial? Just every word seems to be spelled wrongly, however it's there in suggested words.

It learns as you use it. So let it trawl your texts as it says and also your emails and that sets it better. The more you use it the more it improves

Also try out swift flow - seems strange at first but it is quick when the words work :)

Isn't there sound profile shortcuts on the power menu (hold power button)?

I use 'Audio Control' for this. can quick select manually, or set it by time of day.

Is there a way to get Google to remember the apps you have on your phone?

when I flash a new rom sometimes it just downloads all the apps and sometimes is doesn't

Is there some sync option somewhere?

Why not try Titanium backup? It's pretty much essential for ROM hoppers

Yeah you could use that. But the question is valid. I would like to know the answer as well. I recently purchased a nexus 10 and when I signed it downloaded around 70% off my nexus 4 apps and none of the recent ones.
