Not really interested in backing anything up other than the apps. So i don't really want to use titanium incase off issues when restoring.

My contacts, messages and calls are already backed up and in don't have any app data except login details which is a pain reentering them but it's not to much of a issue

You can backup and restore your apps without the app data - this will make it the same as a fresh app install when you restore with nothing from your previous install being restored, only the installed app itself.

But personally, I've never had a single issue with restoring apps+data and I've hopped plenty of roms. Even moving from sammy based roms to cm10.1 the restore didn't cause any problems - and again after backing up while in cm10.1, switching back to a sammy rom and restoring also caused no problems.

If anyone is a weather nerd like me, you might appreciate this app:

PocketGrib. Lets you download and view Grib files from NOAA, COAMPS, WW3, NOGAPS, RTOFS.

There's loads of extra settings and overlays you can display on the map from the grib file too.

Anyone know of a decent replacement for Simple calendar Widget? It keeps resetting my widget (not showing my tasks list and the wrong calendar) until I click into it. Starting to annoy me now! Something that can show my calendar in list mode but with gtasks integration too..?

Swiftkey seems great, just wish it wasn't £3 to keep. Guess I'm used to cheap iOS apps falling over themselves to give you their stuff.

Have to say I did buy this and although I truly hate the predictive element to it I do find it makes my texts that much quicker to send. I don't think I've actually fully typed out a text in months!

Just installed Swift Key on my HTC One and there is no "Enter" key? Must be a bug, unless some else has it and it works fine on the same handset

I think it depends on what app you're in. SMS will have an emoticon, web browser should have a return key etc.

has anyone tried this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.goddchen.android.easyapptoolbox

seems to be able to backup apps and data(?) without root access which would be nice :)

Just tried it on my S3 and while I am rooted, this app didn't ask for SU permissions so in theory, yes - it should back up apps+data on non-rooted devices :)

Finally, one for Nexus18 ;)

That looks impressive - not sure how many months it would take me to get used to it but it definitely looks like it has a lot of potential!
