Is anyone else getting chargerd by their bank account when buying apps via google checkout? I'm getting charged £1 a time

Quite often you get a nominal £1 charge just to check the account is active but you shouldn't get charged the £1, on a credit card it just lies dormant for a few days and then goes away.

Elastic effect. The screen sort of goes too far then springs back into position when you swipe screens.

Anyone use Double twist for media? Since the last update for the desktop version it puts all podcast into a podcast directory, but none of the Music apps would find them even if you selected just that folder. I contacted the CS for them and they told me to use the Double Twist app on the music store its free at the moment as there is no way to alter this. Its a bit harsh that in the future that if you use the desk top app you will be forced to buy their app to get the podcast to work, unless some other dev does a work around.

I gave up on DT, but have you tried 'Listen' by Google for podcasts?

The app on the phone can download podcasts when new ones are published, and on the desktop you can keep track via google reader and stream the podcasts.
