Is there any sort of free countdown app where I can set a custom wallpaper? I'm going to Boston in 145 days and want something to inspire me, hah.

anyone know when the sky apps will be back on the store?
I've just started a free trial with Now TV but obviously as it's a sky service the app was pulled the other day and there's no where else to get it.

If you've got Android 4.2 onward and Dashclock, there's an extension for a countdown timer!

I'm using Swype at the moment, generally no problems, but why does it seem to 'drop' my capitals half the time?

Lets say in the middle of a sentance I want to give my post code, I press shift, looks fine, I press N and it puts in 'n'?!?!?!?! Really annoying. Have I missed something?

Does anyone have their phone encrypted? Just realised its possible now I decided to set the lock screen to something a little bit more secure. Any drawback/lag/issues with enabling encryption?

Is this after you double tap shift for capslock or not?

i bought it yesterday and would like to set it up fully and just been fiddling about with it, just wondering if theirs a guide to an ultimate setup or something.

Currently in the process of trying out Nova, I downloaded Apex and did notice some lag every now and again, Nova is a little better in this regard, however the overall polish in terms of UI for Nova is pretty poor IMO. My view is that the standard PA launcher is horribly laggy, so even if Apex is slightly worse than Nova, it's still a huge leap forward compared to what I've been using. Would be nice if the dev for Apex improved performance a little though.

Bought Minimal MIUI theme as well, not bad, can't complain for 83p, do wish there were a few more icons though

Well an easy few fixes:

Add your postcode to the dictionary, when you swype it it will now be in caps.
You can change a word to caps after typing/swyping it by swiping from swypekey (bottom left) to left shift. 3 Options will appear (capital first, all caps, all lower).

I appreciate your efforts, but the post code was an example, it happens far too many times I use a capital in the middle of a sentence.

The second option sounds like more effort than pressing delete, shift and the letter again. We use Swype because it makes it quick and easy to enter text... this all puts me off it all.

I haven't tried many but Waze works perfectly for me. I really like the community aspect too it and it has helped me out on countless journeys. There were rumours circulating a few weeks ago that Facebook were in talks with them about a $1 billion take over bid. Really hope that doesn't happen!
