If anyone has a spare 10 minutes, you should check out the XPrivacy module for Xposed (root required).

It lets you revoke permissions on a per app basis.

Finally! Been wanting this for some time now! Guess i'm going to have to root my phone soon :)

What's the best app in case I lose my phone? Something with the ability to upload a photo from the front facing camera if X unsuccessful login attempts and remote wiping/disabling would be ideal.
 
All these apps are free through the Amazon app store. The special offer is today only.
