Essential Android Apps

Ok so Swype is really rather good indeed. Better than SwiftKey imo.

Indeed, I have both and it's no contest. However the bit that really really bugs me. If I key in a post code it tries to speculate on the result. Ended up getting lost when I didn't realise this had happened for a location in the country with no internet to then search what had happened. I wish when you key in the actual letters key in are the default and others are the choice but apart from that excellent.

I know its not an app but how gorgeous looking is the new web Play store?

It feels like 5x faster too, they done quite am amazing job with it!

It looks nice but as always, functionality gets removed bit by bit or additional steps are required to do the same thing. I can no longer filter any of the reviews such as by device or newest first etc. The options have been removed. They seem to be dumbing down their apps also.

Pretty much, gets summed up here http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...-of-stuff-heres-everything-weve-found-so-far/

Can't believe they removed the option to remote uninstall/update apps.

Just tried here, I could remote install an app if I want - wasn't that clear, the button said installed (when I knew it wasn't) but as soon as I clicked it then the option to install was available

Remote installs are still there yeah, but remote uninstalls aren't.

Remote updates are though apparently. I checked on my phone which apps needed an update, went to the app on the web playstore and clicked 'install'. It didn't indicate it needed an update though.

Is there a way to automatically sync my Nexus 4 gallery with my Nexus 10? Ala iphone to ipad with icloud.

edit: Figured it out. Just enable Auto backup from google+. This will sync it to your 15gb free google drive space and pictures/video will show up on all your Android devices! Pretty awesome!
