Great idea and useful for me since I'm lazy texting people when I'm at my PC. However I can't seem to connect to my phone, the connection keeps timing out?

Are you on your wireless and connecting to the phone with the correct port? (default 8080). I guess it could be firewall related, I just fired mine up and popped in the [noparse]ip:port[/noparse] and it worked for me.
 
I've switched over to Smart Keyboard Pro now, was using the HTC Mod keyboard for a while, but I find the text correction much better on Smart Keyboard. Plus it has most of the features as the HTC mod keyboard, such as swipe gestures.

I install games/fun apps to play with, but normaly un-install them after. The above always stay on my phone tho

I think I might switch back to smart keyboard, I used it before IME MOD but finding that it's slow to open and those swipe gestures don't work very well for me in the IME.
 
I dont know if anyone can help but when i try to download apps from the market it just says 'Starting download.....' but never actually downloads :(
Happens on WIFI and network...:(

I had that exact same thing yesterday trying to download apps over Orange 3G. Gave up in the end but tried it the next day and it worked perfectly. Strange really as I tried disabling/enabling the wireless network, restarting the phone but nothing could get it going.

how did you fix the problem? this is exactly whats wrong with mine too. i'm going into >settings>accounts and trying to remove the google account, but it wont let me without a factory reset because 'this account is required by some applications'. I've added my new gmail version but it doesn't make a difference and apps still dont download.
 
Does the speedtest.net app work for anyone else on T-Mobile? I can never get a reliable test through the android app or when tethered even though the connection is blatantly running well. Have T-Mobile blocked speedtest servers?
 
using Launcher Pro Beta now, must say i rather like it!

however only niggles i have with it are i cant seem to find any decent widgets like friendstream. Anyone have any ideas?

Also i seem to only have 3 home screens now. Is this normal? is there a way to get more?
