There is, it's a known bug with the 1.7 update for the DHD. Prior to that, the GPS locked on very quickly. They'll fix it with the next patch, I'm sure. In the mean time, however...

This is the Android Apps thread, not the DHD thread, maybe you should have been more clear. :p

Anyone else got the tweet to say the Twidroyd app has been suspended by Twitter? Seems they've violated their policies. Not sure what that means though. Shame, my favourite Twitter client.

I believe it's the way it polls the Twitter API. Tried the official client?

Back on TweetCaster now. According to here:

"These violations include, but aren't limited to, a privacy issue with private Direct Messages longer than 140 characters, trademark infringement, and changing the content of users' Tweets in order to make money," a statement from Twitter to Techcrunch and ReadWriteWeb explained.

They're working on a compliant version apparently.

And I am glad to have found a replacement Android nav app, pending an update from HTC.

If we slated every application because it didn't work on a particular handset then we'd be here all day. It might have been prudent to point out that rather than being an application issue it was a handset problem.

Bejeweled 2 has been released on Android, though it doesn't show on the market for my DHD and when trying to install it from the market website it says not available on my carrier, anyone else having the same issue?

Looking around I can see lots of themes which are free - but they have to have their own installer which costs.

Is there anything out there which is totally free?

If anyone has pdf e-books, ezPDF viewer is a brilliant app. Combined with Dropbox it's awesome having your library on-demand :-)

Is something like samba required to get android network sharing working with Windows 7 on a home network? I can see public documents on my pc from my phone using es file explorer, but I cannot serve files from my phone to my pc. I also cannot browse non-public documents from my phone for some reason.

I downloaded a hangman app, its pretty basic but for those moments you want to just pass the time its really good
