ok one has worked, my wifi turned off when I left home but it took until the train station to acknowledge. Will report back at lunch when I have had a further tinker.

CapturePro seems very good and it has proper widescreen capture too. Is there any way to enable touch focus though?

I noticed this last night,im sure touch focus was available in the free version but not in the paid version ? seems abit odd unless its a bug ?

How does the phone know where you are to run the toggle?

The problem I have with these apps (Tasker/Llama) is that, on the Desire, it fails to perform actions using cell sites when the phone screen is off. It seems to prevent programs from "seeing" cell site changes when the screen is off... As soon as the screen turns back on, the actions all fire

Only just saw this.

Basically I have a variable that is set to either Home, Gf's House, Uni, or Unknown (when not connected to any wifi). The variable is set by the Wifi SSID or whether my calendar says I have work.

After that, I have a profile that checks every 2 minutes to see what variable is set. If it's set to unknown, it turns wifi on for 10 seconds to try and get a connection, if it doesn't connect then the location remains unknown and the wifi turns off again. If the wifi does connect, then i'm in a known location and the wifi remains on. All using If statements

Another vote for GTasks

I was using it wrong for ages, but now I've worked out the difference between making a note and making a list I'm using it all the time. I'm also using it along with Simple Calender, so I have reminders in the widget as well
