Shadow Galaxy is a cool wallpaper but...

I've got a one-x and when I swipe between home screens, the wallpaper freezes then catches up with itself.

Is this the norm? Doesn't make for a great user experience

The One X doesn't like live wallpapers :p

As smooth as a static wallpaper on the SGS2.

A good contact picture sync app that does high res for free, even on Gingerbread!

Get it here

You got this working? I had Syncmypix before, uninstalled. Despite installing this and syncing the it seems to have left the pictures from the previous app - I know because I changed the picture size and it is still the same size Syncmypix used.

Indeed. Live wallpapers don't work properly with the Sense launcher for some reason.

Perfectly fluid with Apex and other launchers however.

It appears it won't override previous pictures :(

It really bugs me that the whole contacts/pictures syncing is still proving such an issue.

Theres an option for 'full sync' which removes all facebook contacts and reimports them?

I have tried that, no luck.

EDIT:

Is there an app that removes all contact pictures? Syncmypix didn't do all of them? I think I am just going to do them manually with large hi-res pictures.

Very nice. Runs a treat on my One S :D

How much extra power do live wallpapers use? I'm guessing it's fairly minimal as they'll only drain power when the phone is awake and in use.

Actually they do seem to use quite a bit, they have a bad reputation for battery life so I've never used one and I'm not sure of the specifics.
