I had similar run ins with that issue, in the end it only happened when I restarted the phone and had adblock set to turn on at boot, turned it off and manually start it myself, not had any of those proxy issues since then, although a few sites don't work with it turned on i.e. the ITV guide online doesn't display the time, channel, tv show grid.

It is amazing how much quicker some sites load now as all those stupid ads are blocked, looking at you XDA and neowin!

WaveSecure sends an SMS message to you to verify your phone number. Ensure that you typed your phone number in full international format (for example, +15551234567) and that you have enabled SMS messaging on your phone plan.
 
Back to using the 4.2 keyboard as:

1. Much prefer the colour scheme and layout
2. Noticed heavy battery drain with swiftkey flow today, used nearly as much as the browser!

Some wee things aren't as good and overall the predictive text isn't as good but for overall usage it does the job nicely :p

It's a great app :). Quite like the music so even got a couple of their albums :p.

I had problem with Ad Free after I tried to reinstall it again, so went with Ad Away. Ad Away has a nicer UI with the option to unblock ads as well (if you feel blocking ads is causing a problem with something), and an option for a blacklist and whitelist.

Always used Adaway myself also. First thing that gets installed when I root/flash roms!
 
Adblock is working great for me ever since I found out what was causing the proxy issues, every ad on every website has been blocked as well as in app ads, youtube ads.

Only bad thing is having the notification icon in the status bar and tray :(
