swype just had an update and it is much more responsive/quicker at popping up now, happens instantly as opposed to before there was a micro lag/delay....

Now all they need to do is change the theme to a "proper" holo colour scheme/look

Meh. I've been trying swype for the past couple of weeks ,but have literally just gone back to swift key. There's a horrible lag sometimes opening it, but I can't stand swiping without swiping through spaces. Which swype doesn't do. And swype doesn't have cursor arrows?

That lag is completely gone now with the latest update

It does, but not like swiftkey etc.

you have to go into another area of the keyboard, which kind of makes it pointless then....

It's the lack of cursors that's holding back Swype for me. I mean, they're there, but you have to swype from the settings key to the number key to get them, and I use them more than that. I'm sticking with Swiftkey for now.

I just finished playing Final Fantasy Dimensions and I highly recommend getting it.

It's taken my 40 odd hours to complete it and was well worth the £5 I spent on it!

It seems to have fixed the 'dropping capitals' issue I mentioned earlier

I couldn't see how much it was because when I go online it's marked as Installed not the price.

But yeah, it's really good but I think I'd pay up to a £10 for it and not more

Depends on the phone but usually you need to root and modify a few /system files.

I know that the Paranoid Android ROM lets you toggle it but that requires flashing it if you're still on stock. I imagine other ROMs will have similar options too so it depends how willing you are to tinker

If you're rooted, Nova launcher lets you hide the clock.
