New Swiftkey BETA is out:

Hi all,

We’re really excited to launch SwiftKey Cloud today as part of our latest beta!

Many of you have told us you love SwiftKey, but want a way for your personalized language insights to be backed up safely, so the moment you get a great new phone or tablet, or if it’s stolen or lost, your language data is already there waiting for you. Well that’s exactly what we’re rolling out today - plus a whole lot more.

There are three main features included in SwiftKey Cloud:

Backup your personalized language profile and sync across multiple devices.
Enhance predictions with Trending Phrases based on current news and Twitter buzz.
Teach SwiftKey your writing style from even more online message archives.

Download SwiftKey 4.2 beta featuring SwiftKey Cloud now here:

I'm looking for a free/cheap app for my S3 that will turn off pin screenlock if I have entered my pin in the past X minutes. "Delayed lock" does exactly this but £2 for what amounts to very little code is pretty cheeky in my opinion. Does anyone know of any alternatives?

Are you rooted? Cutom roms normally have this feature baked in.

Think the 'Automatically Lock' function under Security can do that for you??

or have Samsung removed this function??

Really not liking the stock email client on my Y300 as it keeps bringing up old emails, there is no 'date range' (last 7 days etc) for example. Mails that are marked as read on my PC are not being synced as read in this client... so... what's the 'go-to' mail client please (even if it is stock jelly bean.)

Are you using the right email protocol first? POP doesn't show stuff as read across multiple clients

I was using POP3, that's what it was by default (Hotmail). Switch to IMAP/SMTP? (Guessing SMTP with Hotmail. Don't really want to take this thread off topic though.) Shoved on K-9 Mail for the moment.

EDIT: (I see the replies below mine, but rather than bumping.... I looked up the settings for Exchange for hotmail, and am back to trying out the stock email app with that instead of POP3. Seems to work as expected for Hotmail :-) ). K-9 Mail has many more features though so I may go back to that regardless... will see.

Yeah using IMAP should sync up read statuses etc. Installing K-9 probably isn't a bad idea though still :p

Yeah looks good, hopefully a more integrated solution to what we're using at the moment (Xprivacy, pdroid etc).

Like the article says though, it's a bit of a security flaw that you can't disable a permission until the app actually requests it :/
