It depends which Japanese, the alphabet, or the chinese characters. Japanese has 51 alphabet, but Chinese characters is in the tens of thousands.

Well I guess that 51 character alphabet shouldn't need much more processing power than a 26 character alphabet in order to do OCR, but I when you have thousands of characters I think that it would require far more processing power, so it will be interesting to see if it can be done.
 
Is there an app that will allow you to browse you local network, then play a file you select over the lan?
I have oplayer but that has to have stuff sent to it via wifi.

I just wanna be able to sit in the lounge and do it all, no comp involved!

Possible?

Serve it using an HTTP server and simply browse to http://local_ip and select the file/folder. The downside to this is that it will only work with the native "iPod" application unless there's a way to open web links in third party applications.
 
anyone had problems setting up itunes remote?

i put the passkey in itunes on pc and it just says checking and doesnt get any further, have left it for 10 mins or so and nothing.

Check out the Papa Sangre app. It's a game with no video! All done in 3d sound. Play in the dark and prepare to crap yourself as you get chased by monsters!! It's well made and definitely an experience!
