Not sure about Devil May Cry, but Dynasty Warriors 2 is dirt cheap so might do. :)

FFX-2?
dunno how good it is, i dont like the FF's lol

A lot of people **** off FF X-2, and I can kiiinda see why, but having completed it, and FF X, I can say they're both really good. In terms of story and music, X is a bit better I'd say, but I actually preferred the gameplay of X-2, dresspheres and all that, over the sphere grid of X.

That's typical :D Just had a quick scout round ebay and the three games that I definitely want no question about it, are all about £10 each.
So as it stands, I'm looking at getting:
FF10
Silent Hill 1 (the first one will keep me busy till I have some more money to get the collection)
Star Ocean: To The Ends of Time
Zone of the Enders
Dynasty Warriors

Should keep me busy :) Roll on payday and Uni ending :p

think you'll need a PS1 memory card to save your game on silent hill 1, might be wrong though.

Escape from monkey island is pretty good, I enjoyed it anyway as i never got round to playing it on the pc.

I've got a PS1 with 2 memory cards anyway so no worries there :)

Got Escape to Monkey Island on the PC :) SSX Tricky I might do though, depends if it's cheapest on PS2 or X-Box.

only games i can truely recommend were

ICO
Shadows of the Colossus
Final Fantasy

there was nothing i liked on the ps2 at all when i owned one

Anyone played Dragon Quest? That looks like my kind of thing possibly.

thats one of the games you really should get if you like rpg games,
ive been playing dq8 for the last 2-3 weeks and so far spend 55+ hours enjoying every hour of it,
there is just soo much to do in this game, check some reviews, its a really good game,

I personally thought star ocean: till the ends of time wasnt that great of a game, with a frustrating combat system.. i'd recommend tales of symphonia for the gc if you have one, as it has a similar battle system but a much better game :D. You might also want to check out shadow hearts: covenant which is a great rpg, though it has a wierd (but good) combat system kinda based on rhythm games etc.. get a few vids of it and check it out :). You could also get the first shadow hearts for storyline purposes, but it is a pretty poor game :p

Oh and ZoE is a _really_ short game so make sure you get it for cheap if your gonna get it!

Been reading some reviews and Dragon Quest and Star Ocean look like my kind of thing.
I've recently sold my Gamecube and don't really want to buy another one so Tales of Symphonia's out.
I remember renting the first Shadow Hearts game years ago, it was so crap :o

Z.O.E seems to go on ebay for about £3 at most so figure it's worth a go :p

Bought one a bit earlier than I planned :o
But I'm still not touching it till I finish Uni :p
Got one off ebay with FF10, FF10-2, Prince of Persia: Warriors Within and some game called GhostHunter (?).
2 games I realllllly wanted, and one I wouldn't mind and it was a good price so couldn't resist :D

Make sure you get Prince of Persia: The Two Princes when you're done with number 2. I preferred it to the 2nd one, but the first is still the best. Nice stealth kill action in the 3rd one though :D

Actually I misread the auction :o It's The Two Thrones not Warrior Within.
Was only really bidding on it for the PS2 and the FFs, PoP was a bonus :D
