Essential PS2 Games

Hi there Haly! Well if you love Star Ocean, then Dragon Quest VIII is a must. Lovely graphical presentation, nice story and one of the best turn-based RPGs that doesn't bear the words 'Final Fantasy' in it.

I'm not sure whether you're fond of the other type of RPG, the strategic turn-based ones with TONS of stats but Disgaea and Phantom Brave are quite good games.

And of course, Resident Evil 4.
 
I like both kinds of RPG so I'll definitely have a look at those :)
Not been able to play on it yet as the memory card's not arrived. Admittedly I was planning on resisting till I finished all my Uni work but at this rate I'll have finished it all and the memory card still won't be here :o

Bought MGS2 in the end, I wasn't going to because I wasn't keen on it last time round but it was 10p on ebay and I figured that was worth a second shot.

Have to see how payday goes on Friday to see about ordering Star Ocean or Dragon Quest. :)
 
Dragon Quest bought......I wasn't impulsive honest :o

Now to wait for this bloody memory card :D
 
What memory card have you ordered?

I got an 8Mb one with a second Dualshock controller in the same packaging from the South American river place within 24 hours!
 
Just ordered one from ebay, it was half the price of anywhere else I saw it :D Pity it's taking a while but then again it's ensuring I finish all my Uni work so sort of good.
 
Good idea.

I'm sending mine back anyway. I had a long thought and decided to get a new Radeon card for my PC instead of buying a PS2.

EDIT: Changed my mind again. Leaving graphics card til next year. Think I will fork out for an Xbox 360 and join the Live crowd.
