Euro 2012 Qualifiers 2/3/6 September ** Spoilers**

Blatant penalty to Scotland but turned down and Bearer booked for diving. Ref has royally screwed the Scottish in the last 5 minutes.

Ref did have a nightmare. Czech should have had a penalty in the first half, but that does not excuse the two bad, bad decisions at the death.

Damn it, so close and then to give away a penalty in the final few minutes. Unfortunately didn't manage to see the game but now I know the result I'm not sure I want to either.

PMSL Holland absolutely smashing San Marino to pieces:eek::D...geezus almighty San Marino might as well retire as a team from int football after that absolute mauling they took.

Hopefully RVP can get his scoring boots on for Arsenal but dear god Holland.

San Marino don't have full time footballers, their players do every day jobs the rest of the week. 12-0 is a good result but most teams put 5-7 past them in a normal game.

Scotland are now 5 points behind the Czech in 2nd place with one game in hand.

Its going to involve going to Spain and winning which really isnt happening.

I didnt think we deserved more than a point from the performance today BUT we were 2-1 up with minutes to go and referee ineptitude gave them a pen and then denied us one so there is every right to be peed off at the result.

What make the whole thing really questionable is that the ref was well placed for both pen incidents so you wonder how one was and the other wasnt.

Crapello laying into Carroll again because he was 'caught' enjoying himself and having a drink in closed season.
Didn't think to mention Rooney and his escapades (such as leaving his training / diet requirements at home, his words not mine).

fair point - but no one can say anything against Rooney at the moment, considering how well he is playing for Club and Country

Andy Carroll is currently nowhere remotely close to the expected quality required for an England forward.

He is totally unproven at every level.

Ideally you want strikers with Champions League/European experience at the very minimum.
