Is there any Ice Road trucking expansions for this game? I got it as part of a Humble Bundle a while ago but not had a chance to play with it much yet.

Now that would be a epic add on to the game - would love to try some of the insane roads / driving conditions from there

It's extremely large and unforgiving in certain areas, I believe the west is the snowy/ice part. This is definitely the toughest challenge you will find in terms of maps.

Apologies for being lazy, 68 pages is a hell of a lot, but can anyone recommend any essential mods?
Promods, Trucksim Map, Rusmap.
As for trucks, literally any of the older ones. They sound amazing.

Late to the party, I'm quite enjoying playing this even with a controller. 
Can imagine it being much more fun and realistic with a wheel set, running a bunch of mods too which add to the overall experience.

I'm using a sound mod that is very good for trucks. I did try to look it up earlier but cannot find it.
I'll put it in a link to download for you.

Taken from my Mods folder. This should have priority (top of the mod list) over any other sounds. Most noticable on the Scania. If you play with, then without the mod, you'll definitely hear the difference.

Absolutely love ETS2 and I can't explain to anyone why. Got ATS,but that has a long way to go with adding States before there is enough to play around with.
Totally tempted to get this G29 steering wheel on deal on OC this weekend,but man are they pricey! Still a nub playing with keyboard, but I love chilling to some music and driving across Europe when I want a break from DayZ, GTA or whatever I am playing at that moment in time.

Found Goba's "The Harsh Russian" map for 1.22 The miles are a lot longer than ETS2 and the timescale is slowed down a lot. It is huge. It's similar to his Truckers Map, but don't think he actually uploaded it, could be wrong.
