Euro Truck Simulator 2 worthy of purchase

I meant the consoles

I know what you meant.

Some points in no particular order :
1. SCS don't make Farming Simulator. They make ETS2 and ATS.
2. They're a very small studio. They've expanded recently, but the original team was a handful of people.
3. First and foremost ETS2 is a PC game and has been in continual development for the last 5 years since it slowly turned into a sleeper hit. It was never developed with consoles and joypads in mind really.
4. How do you add mod support to consoles?

Go have a look at the "success" of Assetto Corsa on consoles to see what happens when a smallish developer bites off more than they can chew and releases a poor quality product.

I never said SCS made farming simulator.

Wasn't Minecraft one guy?

Things change when success comes.

Doesn't fallout 4 have mod support on a console?

Thank god for that, now we can back to Euro Truck Simulator. Loved this game, put around 300 hours into it but just wish it had come on consoles by now.

Promods sort of "re does" Europe. There is an Italy Map, Russian Map (Truckers Map by goba but you have to downgrade your game version. It's a one to one scale so HUGE and very difficult in certain roads. It will take HOURS no word of a lie.

France add on, Going East, Going North (Scandanavia etc) Truck Sim Map covers Europe as well and adds Africa. The Southern Region adds a small bit of Russia too.

I can look through old posts of mine on Promods one sec.

https://promods.net/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=18726 Up to date afaik. EAA is the Brazil map. You can also use the EAA Bus map to do bus missions with passengers. Made by brazilians so it is very well done indeed. One of my faves.

For that ^ 1.27 is needed. https://promods.net/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=14523 Sticky topic for the best load order.

How do they update the map once a new area is released by SCS? For instance the France map, was this already a part of promods? Then SCS release the map and it includes certain features which are recognisable like bridges or something else. Do Promods completely strip the DLC content in favour of their own? or do they rework around the features / roads SCS have implemented in the DLC?

Is there a list of what stuff aside from the game I'd need to get so it's up to date with all mods and biggest it can be?

There's nothing like Nexus for ETS2 etc that tells you, you'll have to look at your mods and then on line to find the updates.

For example Jazzycats Trailer Pack 5.0 you have, and online is 5.3
