Yeah each manufacturer has an entry level one about 100k. You have to discover the dealerships first though.

Just bought my fully kitted out Merc, looks mean :cool: was gonna save up so I could keep my old truck and hire a driver but ended up trading it in - from what I read here hired drivers don't earn you much anyhow!

I like the Mercs but they are so well made that even with the sound mods they are quiet inside :D
 
The Dav and man trucks can be had for around 90-95k. Just keep doing loads of quick loads and you soon make the money up it just takes time. I'm up to level 23 now and I've just bought a second garage, the agency drivers are really poor though they hardly earn anything for me so it left to me to earn the most money really by doing the long distance deliveries. Best tip to earn the big money is to make sure you Max out the long distance attribute as quick as you can.
 
the game is real nice as is, but you can do the FXAA injector mod and it makes it look fantastic with some tweaking, I haven't got around to messing about with that yet tho.

I was there earlier on. Rather than wait for delivery of a disc I decided to go to Green Man Gaming and use the 25% off code for cost of £18.75. Topcashback may take off another 6.06%.

Didn't intend spending anything like that after the demo but somehow got pulled in.

One big accident earlier. Rain came on and within a few hundred yards yards a tighter bend approached. Tried to coast through it and then suddenly lost grip, started to spin left then right and flipped over into the side of the carriageway on my side. Was not expecting that! Not having that on my record though so loaded my previous save. :D
 
Anyone worked out how to do paint schemes for the actual trucks? The custom paint schemes in game are all terrible. Would be nice to get your company logo on the truck itself, then you don't have to worry about taking jobs that use the trailer. Thats how it works IRL a lot too, the company own the truck then are contracted out to take different trailers.
 
Indeed. You would have to open up the base.scs, in there you will find the dds skin files for the trucks, edit and save them just like trailers.

I wasn't able to open the file with 7zip like the other scs files, vorhees linked the program needed around the page 10ish area. Going to give it a go myself soon.


Again though I think the issue will be that your truck skin will be available to all ai drivers, not just members of your company but i'm not 100% on that. Although there are more trucks and designs then trailers so I guess it will happen less.

just downloaded the fuel station update and ive ended up with a UKash virus on the pc, just be carefull with these sites guys they seem dogey :o was just about to do some trucking aswell
