I was, but I tried opening the base.scs file to see if I could put it in there and my PC corrupted.

Now the game is ****ed and I need to re install. Great.

easier to just replace a skin within one of the trailer pack mods.

So you have a trailer mod in your mod folder?

Open scs with 7zip > get to where the dds files are, rename your dds file the same as one of the dds files from the mod, delete the mod version and drop yours in.

close the scs zip window

run game.

First time I did it I replaced all mod designs with my design so it was easy to spot it or spawn with it.

As a .dds and DTX 5 or however. I know it works because as voorhees said I sent it to him and it was fine

I used to play some of the older trucking games by SCS, I think 18 Wheels of Steel was the last one I properly sunk time into. It has to have been nearly 10 years ago since the first one I played

What essential mods should I grab? and what page was the config for using an Xbox pad in a decent way?

Think I'm going to have to restart my company, a mixture of bank loans, high speed accidents (I shouldn't have removed that limiter) and Ronald my agency guy sloping off and spending all my cash on hookers instead of working have left me with a large debt and no income.

but you say Voorhees tested your skin in his game and it worked?

Get him to send you the scs mod he put your dds in and then If that doesn't work then I have no idea.

The pad config was the bottom of 6 or 7 and the mods list that most have is around them pages.
