Guys I have a question about the realistic physics mod http://ets2.lt/en/realistic-physics-mod-v1-6/

It says extract scs files to mod folder like all other mods but there are no scs files, there are various folders and some sii files, I have put the root folder called "Def" in my mod folder but have the feeling its not working, whats the correct way to do this mod ?

I'm level 16 now and finally got a 3rd slave in my garage. I should be way further ahead but i waste so much money :(

I might see if i can record one of my jobs later so you can all laugh at my terribly impatient driving :o

It should just come as a .scs no need to do anything just drop it straight in the mod folder, if it's a zip just rename to .scs should work
 
Right, this has been bugging me for a few hours now, is there any particular way of getting the view to move around the cabin? I've tried both with my 360 controller, my steering wheel, keyboard, mouse. No matter what keys I set, I can't seem to look around the cab, which makes pulling out at junctions rather interesting lol.
 
Right stick on my 360 pad works fine for me too, although mine does wander a fair bit sometimes lol
I did remap the buttons from in game, although if my headphone cables catches my mouse it does still move the view camera randomly lol

Little update:
Level 37 now, 10 garages, 32 slaves 32 trucks, clearing the better part of 1 million euros a week, will be a lot more when my newbie drivers get their stats up hehe

Wow - good going. I seem to be going slow and steady (lvl 24, 2 garages, 6 drivers)

What mods are you using - small garages at £18,000 is quite a steal!

I'm using the XP + Economy mod, basically for carefully parking your trailer on delivery you get an additional 6K XP, and it slashes 50% of the price at the pumps, although i think that part is actually broken now, filling my Volvo up from half a tank costs nearly 900 euros lol :S

and the powerful engines mod, just for lazy drivers like me, i can pull of in 12th gear although it isn't best for around town, with no trailer, my truck drags off the line like a nutter, the front end really does lift so much that steering isn't possible, but It's alright for pulling away from lights on the motorway

a little more advice i can offer, avoid refilling in England if at all possible, Best places for pricing seems to be down Poland way, Bratislava etc etc.

Oh yeah i forgot loan debt. Still got 345k to pay off :D


I'm really not bothered about fuel costs, that outgoing is nothing to me compared to fines/service costs :D :(

As for the powerful engines mod, let me just say the 1500hp engine is suicide if you don't have a trailer hooked up.


Actually the extra parking xp sounds good, got a link to that mod?

Sorted that problem with the view. Turns out it was trying to use FaceTrack, which I'd totally forgotten about. Removed that and cab view worked straight away!
 
Ah, that XP + Economy mod certainly helps with progress - went from lvl 24 to 27 after 2 trips. Makes my drivers level like a nutter too.

Although seems to change my currency from sterling to euros - a small price to pay.

Fuel prices at your own garages are quite competitive too.
 
There's only so long i can play with everything stock before it gets boring. Driving faster than 55mph was the first step, now it's levelling faster. I suppose it depends whether you want to play it more as a sim or a tycoon style game.
 
The money has always been Euro's, My main garage is based in London from day 1 and it's always been Euro's, garage prices, speeding tickets, everything is Euro's

I wouldn't say it's a kind of cheat... it's a mod, it does what it says on the tin tbh, Besides, does it really matter if you cheat on a single player only game? I don't think it does, the choice is yours, if you do, fair enough, if you don't, fair enough...

What speed de-restrictor are people using, I downloaded one a few weeks back but it does nothing, all my trucks are still capped at 55mph top and it's starting to annoy me a little.

Level 43 now, King of the road!!
12 garages
38? drivers or something in that ballpark
Bringing in an average of 2 mill per week
Going to start taking it easier when all my garages are pulling in 5 mill a week without me having to drive damn new constantly lol

I'm level 26 and have 5 garages and 20 trucks, I use mods but not cheat mods such as level mods or more cash mods, I dont even use de-limiter mod, fair enough if others do but for me it takes away from the game., if I get loads of money or level up in the blink of an eye, I find I dont really want to play any more, just seems a bit pointless but thats just me.
