£148m in the bank and they want an Audi Q7?
Poor form. They are doomed. I'm not jealous or owt.
Give them a few months and they will have a few.Bad idea to go public, IMO. Did they not read about previous winners?
People keep saying this, but the media being the media will find you. It's impossible to keep such a win private. At least this is a controlled situation.
I doubt they would get found if their first thought is to purchase an Audi Q7.
There first thought was to share it with all their friends. So yes they would be found. It is mpossibel too keep sch a win private.

They could wait a while and simply state that they won the normal lottery or something.
Didn't previous winners go into hiding after being harassed by random people? How is that controlled? :\
True, I always say I wouldn't want to go public but there's always going to be some jealous family member/friend/neighbour/work colleague that would be willing to drop your name for a couple of quid from the media. It would be nigh on impossible to keep it secret forever where you live. I'd be buggered by the curtain twitcher across from me straight away. I suppose it's what we've all got to look forward to in our twilight years![]()
How they going to do. That, whilst giving large sums to friendss and family.
There's a huge. Difference between 2mill and. 148mill how you going to hide that?
trickle it down. I guess all your families all get along and do not get jealous? Why wouldn't you give huge sums of money to family/friends.
You aren't going to hide it, your better of accepting that and dealing with the consequences rather than worrying when your name will be splashed acrroos the paper and not doing what you truly want too do.
Remember they get expert advice on what to do.

I think you're over estimating the media's desire to uncover or expose lottery winners that wish to remain anonymous, it's not like in the early days when it was new and the first few winners were headline news.
