European Football Leagues 2012-13 [Spain/France/Italy/Germany/other]

Mönchengladbach leading against Bayern. Bayern have looked really threatening as well just not been able to pull off something at the end.

I've said it loads of times before, for me Mourinho seems to do something, he can create a short term winning mentality, but at some stage EVERY team loses, and starts to do worse, and his teams seem completely unable to deal with that. Take a team almost at the top anyway, work some mental mumbo jumbo to give them uber confidence, then win for a couple years, then they fall to pieces.

Real even playing basically all the same players just aren't a patch on last year. City look worse than last year, but not THAT much worse and are still getting results, the amount by which Real has declined is insane, and they are dropping points constantly, are already looking like they could struggle for second rather than first this season.

Their play is disjointed, just about everyone looks unhappy, Mourinho is a **** in general but always was when they were winning also(eye gouging and his kick on Cesc who was down after a terrible tackle by Marcello, I've NEVER seen a manager do anything like either of these, both horrendously unprofessional), Ronaldo is still scoring and making chances but doesn't look at his best. Ozil/Di Maria, Modric, Khedira, look pretty poor. The team just doesn't seem right, same way Chelsea had a great team but didn't seem right before he left, and the same way Inter had a great team but didn't seem right in the season after he left.

Short term good, then his teams fall apart, and he seems to do pretty well to get out quick with success before a team can fall apart. Financially he left Inter in a mess and spent like a complete idiot at Chelsea, and has spent very poorly at Real.

Falcao just almost scored an awesome header as I was typing, off the inside of the post and out, he really is just awesome, ridiculous power.

Falcao 1, Messi 0

so far.

Falcao has been on fire but I'm not sure I agree he's on a mission "tonight", he's just been god damned awesome for 2.5years or so.

Awesome finish, and lol Messi was the one who gave it away :p

Yeah agree with DM, Madrid are **** this year. Just seem off the boil totally compared to last season, pretty sad to see. Luckily the other team from Madrid are out to show it's not a one-team league this time round -

1) give ball to Falcao in dangerous position
2) goals
3) profit

messi breaks huge record... then gets shown up in the next game, predictable really. Two brilliant brilliant goals so far.

I quite want Athletico to win largely because I can't see them lasting the season in a fight with Barca, and a nice big gap between the top two and Real is more likely to see them absolutely crumble under the pressure :p That and I'm developing a man crush on Falcao. Hell he's on 49 goals for the year did they say, some way behind Messi but Barca are a significantly better team and played significantly more than Falcao(probably, hard to find numbers for the year but Messi played 73 last year, 37 this year already while Falcao is on 57/24, I'm going to assume that translates to quite a lot more for Messi in 2012 and all the extra's weren't all in 2011).

What were you chatting DM?

3-1 ... no need to say who.

DM talks a lot of rubbish about other teams, its like he knows exactly what is going on lol.

Messi is just pure awesome, breaking Mullers record and making sure that he continues to score ensuring that it will be a very very long time before anyone gets close to beating his record.

Just an absolute shame that he hasnt got a WC to his name, hoping that in 2014 he finally achieves that milestone although i do have a huge soft spot for Brazil but i wouldnt mind seeing the Argies take the WC.
