My old man made his point quite clear, in times gone by in motorsport, it has always been the driver's responsibility following not to crash into the car in front. I agree with him.

In the vast majority of cases, this still remains the case, even in 2010.

No, the Life L190 was a joke of a car. The Andrea Moda S921 was a joke of a car. And the Lola T97/30....that was the joke to end all jokes of a car.

Compared with them, the current Lotus car is pretty much the McLaren MP4/4 reincarnated....

Okay so it was a massive failure of a machine, but at least it was a decent looking failure unlike some of the efforts churned out by the likes of Coloni over the years.

It actually had decent pedigree, given that it was the stillborn base for a BMW challenger IIRC. And yes, it did look quite nice - especially with that black paintjob.

Got to love the McLaren promo videos I can't say I have seen this posted as of yet and it seems more apt here than in the Silverstone thread as it is Valencia related. The boss of Pirelli has sided with everyone favourite loud mouth Luca di Montezemolo over the "controversy" over the safety car incident.
