European Grand Prix 2011, Valencia Street Circuit - Race 8/19

Hopefully this place is removed for next year.
It's had a fair chance, even with the new rules it's still an absolute joke of a circuit.

These cars do no work round this place, there are other places we could be racing. Or we could just no have so many races on the calendar...
 
I think every post race discussion after a Valencia race has contained the line "Well, its not been the most exciting race, but...."

Why do we continue to race here!

Laguna Seca to replace it!!

But yeah, dull dull race. Doesn't help when i'm doped up on tablets and want to go to sleep :p
 
This place being on the calendar at all baffles me, wheres the millions coming from they're paying Bernie?

The other joke circuits like Bahrain and Abi Dhabi are being bankrolled by Sheik money, Singapore is a snoozefest as well but is a great spectacle and thats why it's on the calendar.....this place Christ knows.
 
And that I completely disagree with. Massa got DRS for catching the Virgin and getting a blue flag before the activation zone. DRS should only be for cars genuinely infront of you, not lapped cars.
 
Another good haul for Alguersuari today.
Decent points for Alonso.

What can you say? It WAS a more interesting race than previous years here, but this track is a failure as far as action is concerned.
Bring on the next race!

My favourite moment was Barrichello overtaking... *someone* at some point.
Quite liked Alonso getting past Webber.
