Not really, just the usual oil burn at beginning of races where they top oil right to the top and some burns off when the engine heats up. Very different to having actual oil being burned throughout a race, or maybe just qualifying.

Really the accusations came from RBR in regards to Mercedes, but now Horner is saying Mercedes went to the FIA about it after Allison switched teams and his original reasoning isn't mentioned any more. Also that new reasoning kinda defeats his original statements, if Allison switched, let Merc know Ferrari were burning oil and Merc were doing it themselves, it's a stalemate, no reason for Merc to go to the FIA unless Ferrari were doing it and Merc weren't.

The FIA also stated that can only use one spec of oil at the event.
Whoever it was, could well have been two oils, one for lubricating, one for burning. F1 oil barely resembles normal roadcar oil anyway, so...

I read a couple of forums speculating that both teams were at it but that Ferrari's implementation was better than Mercedes. If they've been doing it it's most likely to be in Qualifying Q3?

FIA are still deciding if they are going to convene and consider further punishment. First the FIA have to decide if they will look at the results, if so then they have to decide what any further punishment might be.

So he effectively got a bit of (F1) community service but then at the same time gets out of doing road safety stuff because he's such a bad ambassador for it. :p

Title is already Hamilton's now that Ferrari can't burn oil ;)

It's just odd to see them go to the trouble of a review only to decide no action. There wasn't new data, so if they weren't going to update the penalty, why hold a review?

Good news if no further action taken, title should be decided on track :)

What nonsense is this? The title should be decided by the decisions of the drivers. Every split second decision they make decides the title. Vettel chose to purposely ram someone else's car under a safety car situation, after he made a stupid mistake and drove into the back of that same person. For that he should have been black flagged.
