Aubameyang's cross for the goal, considering the pace he was travelling at, was awesome.

I still just do not understand the decision to play Lahm at CDM when they have a garbage RB and loads of CMs. Bizarre.

Nice goal for Celta, currently 1-0 up against Barca and at the Nou Camp, Barca should be several up, one epic, epic first half clearance to keep it at 0-0.

If they lose this they go from what was a not commanding lead or anything but being 5 points I think ahead of Real to trailing them in a week.

EDIT:- getting clsoe to the end, Barca running out of time. Quite enjoying that one of the best chances Suarez headed straight at the keeper when had he left it, it would have fallen to Messi 6-7 yards from goal right in the middle :p

Amazing result especially away from home. Brilliant performance from the keeper, one absolutely epic goal line clearance(shot beaten keeper, heading in and the guy slides in and hits it into the crossbar), another couple of excellent goal line clearances. Such a nicely taken goal though, backheel completely destroyed the defence who weren't remotely expecting it and the guy finished comfortably giving the keeper little to no chance at all.

Sevilla can go top with a win now which is surprising enough. Several teams doing very well this year, pretty competitive at least early part of the season.

Ronaldo's goal was rather funny, as, I forget who it was doing the punditry, said it was basically the worst thing Ronaldo did all game and it ended up a goal. 2 assists and a funny goal ain't a bad night, 23 goals for the season already. At the current rate he's scoring he must be on course for all kinds of records and probably another balloon goes d'pop award.

Bale has actually been surprisingly good at Real in his first year and this year, he's just unlucky enough to play in the same team as someone else who cost about the same and is just playing at a completely different level than everyone else.

Sociedad doing woefully this year, the manager who got them into the champs league 2 seasons ago left after they only offered him a one year contract instead of a two year contract(insane). So another guy who was involved with the club and youth team took over. It went well for a while with some brilliant performances last year and the odd decent one this year. But it's one of those situations where the last guy was just maintaining what was there. In his attempts to replace players, improve the team, the team has become a joke. He got fired and the only thing worse than that is they look like they might be giving Moyes the job :(

one of the most attacking and exciting teams in europe 12 months ago with their first time back in european football in years, everything looking up......... to Moyes and a relegation fight.

Come January it will be, /in scottish accent "sorry Vela, you're exciting but I'm bringing in Anichebe as our first team striker" :(
