** European League Thread (Spain/Germany/France etc) **

We all saw that happening.

Hell, Lukaku will be expecting it, Italian football is just disgusting when it comes to racism. No idea why he wanted to go there of all places to ply his trade.

Deduct the club points then they will stop. Disgusting.
The first time it happens, play to an empty stadium for one game. The second time, two games. The third time, four games. Happens again? Eight games. The fans will soon learn and the club will have no choice but to take action.

The problems in Italy run too deep to simply punish clubs or supporters. Nothing will change until their mentality changes. You only have to look back to the Kean incident last year (against Calgari too?) where post game you had Kean's own captain and manager criticising him.

Really good point, forgot his manager criticizing him. Mind boggles!

I can’t remember who it was but someone from the uk press, maybe an ex footballer said that these issues run way deeper than football. Until those deep rooted issues are sorted this will always happen. Disgusting behaviour but I’m glad it’s getting the attention it deserves.

No surprise the Italian league aren’t taking any action against Cagliari

The amazing thing is that they clearly don't believe that what they are doing is wrong. Its not they they are denying it at all.

Honestly I think the race card is far too easily played these days but this is as cut and dry as you can get. 2 teams of racists defending each other because its "just what we have always done" and we are trying to get under the oppositions skin. Madness.

Lukaku looks a completely different player at Inter, just scored a beautiful goal in the Milan derby.

Inter came back from 0-2 down to win it 4-2!

Gotta love Ligue Un:

He really isn't. The italian league is **** and he looks like the same lump he has done for United. He is still missing chances he should put away, his first touch is still very suspect and he is in a very weak league. The Italian League is nothing like it used to be defensively.

His "beautiful goal" was a simple header from inside the 6 yard box where he just leans on a defender after giving him a push in the back.
