Come on man, it's basic maffs innit. By the time he's added options to the other one it'll be roughly the same price. Clear as day to me, you struggling with comprehension today? Buddy? Enjoy ;)

Oh I know what the claim is, my post was in jest and even had smiley emojis. Though it now transpires they forgot the actual Born lease was not £337 in the first place. Oh well easily done when you can’t do basic maffs innit :D

It was £337 at the time of posting, as per the quote on my portal with the lease company. When I accepted the quote they advised me they didn’t have any left of the stock colour and I’d need to pay for a different colour at a cost of £25 per month.


Maintenance was something I was undecided on, but after getting a puncture in my Boxster, and looking at wear rates for electric cars, it felt sensible to add that on.



Like for like it is still 362 vs 367 given I physically couldn’t get the Cupra any cheaper anymore.




With the ID7 I’m not really compromising on any options I currently have, other than sound system so the added cost was worth it over the Cupra.



This deal isn’t available online so I hadn’t previously considered it.



I hope this thorough explanation of the timeline of events has settled your inner Sherlock Holmes.

Borns have gone up on my scheme too. Mine 2 yrs ago was a £34100 P11D value. Must be close to that magic £40k now.

ID7 will have the more powerful motor too so prob the best option

I'm going to decommission the old one - only 12A / 3 and a bit kw this is 32A and 7.7kw

I was waiting on the comments about the doos :cry:

I was lucky with mine as the electric box is in a cupboard on the other side of the wall so I have no cables or anything on the outside apart from the charger and it's cable. Isn't the OHME cable holder a nasty flimsy piece of garbage? For the price of the thing you would think they would give us something a bit more sturdier.

I can't see it lasting a huge length of time, but plenty of aftermarket replacements
 
It’s pretty neat for an Ohme install in fairness (no cable management).

There are a couple of houses on my estate that have these installed and wired into the meter cupboard which is fine, except its on the opposite side of the house to the drive. These houses have the supply cable lashed across the front of the house, up and over the front door, back down the other side, across the rest of the front of the house and down the side to where the car is parked.

It looks absolute trash, I have no idea what they were thinking when they agreed to that, particularly when going up and through the loft is an option or lifting a few slabs and going under the front of the door.

It is neat.

The meter is past the garage door to the left. Drilled through into the garage, clipped up around the top of the door, down the pillar between the doors, through the pillar to external and into the meter
