Before reading Shin Ra's post I would have echoed his words, KilRock and Trepkos are certainly highly demanding and would require excess of 10M sp or certainly some references to apply to Angel Deep.

Snigwaffe looks your best bet, if it helps I can speak to Griffinator (snigg) and get you pointed towards sniggwaffe

joined a crop, but should i work on the corp or story missions?
Also whats the best asteroid type to mine in a system above 0.5(security)?

I'd want to do all the missions I could first, you should be able to do anything upto lvl 2 in a frig or small cruiser.

also, depending on the area, you'll be able to do missions (kill ones pay best) so that you can upgrade to bigger/better ships/guns etc
try to get frig lvl 4 as soon as pos, if your minmatar you'll want to get a slasher fast for lvl 1/2 and a rifter for lvl 2
train up missiles, rockets won't have much rage at your level so you may want to go for standard missiles.

My advice to any new player is to get about 10m isk together then podjump out to 0.0 space and live out there. Life will be harder but you'll be a better player for it.

Not to mention richer.

10Mill won't last you long in 0.0. You need a lot more just to buy simple equipment due to the logistics involved in getting anything of any value out there.

My advice is join an empire based corp and getting some ISK (15-25mill+) then join and 0.0 based corp within' an alliance and get some serious ISK behind you. Then go as you feel.

To survive in 0.0 you need sense, friends and a source of income. A good corp and the chance to rat or mine fulfils most of that, however some people still lack the former.

Ideally the ability to fly a BS or an AF will mean you can rat, with friends you could mine a decent amount a cruiser or barge
