*** Exciting changes are coming to Overclockers UK! ***

Just a heads up, the new site will be coming very soon. - The testing at store.overclockers.co.uk has been removed today, so you will automatically be forwarded to the old website for now, until we properly swap it over to the new site. :)

As long as the order is over £20, free delivery should be all good. :)

Oh I was wondering why the new site didnt load correctly for me today :)

I guess it's expected. I think I am on the old site again.

Yes that is right, everyone will be on the old site for now. Whilst we do the change which should fingers cross be before the end of this month, so very soon! :)

I was wondering the same when a product page I had open got 404'd! Looking forward to the new search/filter functionality though. Definitely a big step up.

Aha. Didn't know that. Wasn't it before like if its below £40 it's 2nd class royal mail and above its free dpd?
Now I only see dpd :)
Btw aren't you able to add the option to pay extra for weekend delivery if you are eligible for free dpd weekdays? At the moment we have to pay full price on weekend delivery. I do understand its more expensive than the normal one this is why I'm referring to paying the difference . Cheers.

Btw...I see in the US they are listing 12900KS for preorder...any news? I want to preorder :)

Two questions about the new site:

Am I able to access my full order history in any way now, I can only see my last two orders on the new site, and nothing pre-2019?
Is the deal of the day gone for good now, or am I just blind?

Cheers

Mobile site is a step backwards imo.

The nav/search bar etc now takes up too much space

Content has too much white space / text wraps so much that e.g when viewing motherboards can only actually see 2 full products at a time.

The home landing page has a huge scrollbar, mostly caused by the dark grey "footer"

The Favicon on the new site appears to change when you navigate away from the homepage.

I ordered a OcUK Mega Mat XXL this morning which thanks to the 50% discount was £7.49 and Free DPD Delivery worked a charm :D

We haven't migrated the full order history over at the moment, but we do have this on our own files for reference. When it comes to the Deal of the Day, this has been retired as we want to make it easier for customers to find all of our deals using the filters across all categories. :)

Thank you Armageus for the feedback, I've passed this onto the team.

Are you intending to migrate the full history across? I know I came across this several months ago while you were still testing. I found it very handy for checking model names of things I'd bought 5+ years ago, particularly when troubleshooting stuff on hand-me-downs I don't have direct access to anymore. Losing that is quite painful.

I'm hardly expecting it to change at this point, but as feedback regarding deal of the day: I'd fairly often come to the site once a day just to see that. If I go to the deals page now, it currently says there are 1304 deals. Pretty much each sub-category has no less than 20. From my point of view, I see that and I don't have any inclination to sort through all of that trying to find something that's worthwhile on a whim. I'd tend to at least visit the site most days to see the daily deal, which would often directly or indirectly lead me to buying it or something else. I can't see me visiting the site anymore unless I have an actual need for something with this change. Like I said, not expecting anything to come of that, but felt the need to leave my own tuppence worth.

I'm using Safari Version 15.2 (17612.3.6.1.6) on macOS Monterey 12.1 (21C52).

Thank you, I've passed this onto the team. :)

I don't know myself right now, but I've put the feedback across to the team so they're aware of your comments. :)

Are you still doing free royal mail with the new site? Cheers

We are indeed working on it, however, right now, it's free DPD Next Day delivery shipping on orders over £20 for Forum Members right now, more details are here: https://forums.overclockers.co.uk/threads/free-shipping-for-loyal-forum-members.17943556/

I'm getting tired of seeing the consent to cookies window pop up. No matter how many times I click on "Accept All" or go into Settings it makes no difference.

Firefox 97.0.1 (64-bit) browser.

For warranty purposes for order numbers surely you need users to see their order history lol?

I've bought stuff with like 5 years of warranty and now can't see when I bought them or have proof of purchase lol?

Sort by Price ascending doesn't seem to work correctly?

Also way too much white space when in list view on a "large" screen - 2560x1440 and I can only see 4-5 products per page? I feel the old site was much better in that regard

Why can we still not apply multiple filters?

For example with monitors the new site still doesn't allow me to select 27" AND 1440p AND 144fps+. With some categories this would save customers a lot of time narrowing down the options.

Thank you for letting us know, are you using any plugins on your browser? If so, please can you let us know what they are? Thanks! :)

We're working on it, please bear with us. :)

looking at cases, by filter "newest" and they are all random and mostly really old cases

We spotted this yesterday, this should either be fixed now, if not fixed very soon. :)

Good spot, I've passed onto the team to be fixed, seems like a bug with certain brand pages so hopefully we'll have this sorted soon.

We're working on this, the filters is a feature we will consistently improve over time, it's better than what we had on the old website, but agree that it can be even more useful, so it will get better! :)

Very poor indeed. All my order has disappear before 2018 is no longer there because some item are five years warranty will be very hard to find my last order. My address has gone! Will never ordered from ocuk ever again! I prefer old site much better. Very disappointed with new site - awful.
