For warranty purposes for order numbers surely you need users to see their order history lol?

I've bought stuff with like 5 years of warranty and now can't see when I bought them or have proof of purchase lol?

This is the reason - I will never buy from ocuk again! A big let down! Big mistake from overclockers.
 
Would be nice if the filters, e.g. brand, availability, weren't buried at the bottom of the left hand column. They used it be above the items, that was a lot more intuitive, easy to see what filters were applied, and quick to change filters.

CPUs could do with better filters. E.g. I would want to select Alder Lake, then select i7.

Motherboards too. I'd like to filter by ATX, and with Wifi, and DDR version.

Monitors too. I'd like to filter by resolution, vrr type, panel type, size, response time, refresh rate.

Very poor indeed. All my order has disappear before 2018 is no longer there because some item are five years warranty will be very hard to find my last order. My address has gone! Will never ordered from ocuk ever again! I prefer old site much better. Very disappointed with new site - awful.

Is this the main reason you do not like the website? As so far the response has been overly positive, and are welcoming the upgrade of features. - Plus we're continuing to improve and make the website better for example improving the filters etc too over time.
 
Thank you for letting us know, are you using any plugins on your browser? If so, please can you let us know what they are?
Good thinking. The extensions I'm using are below. I'll try disabling uBlock on the new site and report back if that changes anything. Edit: no it doesn't.

We're working on this, the filters is a feature we will consistently improve over time, it's better than what we had on the old website, but agree that it can be even more useful, so it will get better!
Good to hear. This would be a major differentiator compared to other well known sites which still have terrible search/filter options.

I reported this when I last ordered from you in October when the "new" site was all I could load on my phone and first stumbled across it. I mentioned both the lack of order history, and the filters not working. Nothing seems to have changed on that front in 4 months, vague statements about "working on it" aren't very reassuring.
 
Just been through a couple of cycles resetting my passwords for the new site and the forum - not ended up in an ideal place. I normally allow chrome to generate strong random password and store in my account for stuff im not super critical about. all protected with mfa and strong known password on my google side.
then realised it had updated my forum saved login details rather then for the new site so could not then login to the forum with auto fill etc.
so reset forum account and logged in ok and that broke my saved password for the main site... there is a pattern forming now!
so chrome is not saving the two accounts/ logins for the sites as separate logins despite them being different usernames.
also auto fill is not working on the main site login for the email address - is this intentional though?
so as it now stands think ill have to save passwords somewhere else/ use ones I can remember
hope it can be looked into or is still part of the transition.

ps, order history going back more than 2years would be nice as well, if it can be done in good time! spent many 1000s over the years :)
 
There seems to be an issue with the email field on the login page, it doesn't seem to be set appropriately, password managers don't seem to pick it up so it can't autofill it out, it worked fine on the old site.

Hey hawkhench, I appreciate your feedback, we've been focusing on more of the critical bugs/errors during those months in order to get the website live. So now we can focus on the fun bits and improve upon the site, instead of managing two websites at the same time. When it comes to the filters, these have to all be added manually, so over time they will improve naturally, we have some plans to improve the filters in other ways too (from suggestions in this thread). When it comes to the order history, there is so much data to work with and will unfortunately take time. In the meantime, we do have all of the records if you needed to contact our customer service team for returns or warranty queries.

The Autofill bug is on our list to fix, thank you both for raising it. :)
 
working in IT this feels like it should have been a blocker bug IMO for the go live.
requiring users to reset password and password managers not working correctly seems to be a bit of an own goal.
glad its on the list though and hopefully easy enough to sort.
still poking around the new site but im sure it will be nicer to use over the coming months
now if only you could relaunch world logistics and fix that we will all be happy.!

Yeah I've no doubt there's plenty of stuff that's been fixed we've no idea about, I appreciate a lot goes into something like this. Thanks for the headsup about ringing up if necessary.

Thanks guys, the list of bugs is pretty long but luckily they are not hugely critical and we were able to put the website live. Let's just say the IT team are very busy working on the site, and we're looking forward to all of the updates to come. :)
 
the last few days this is happening when i try to visit the store, i havent changed anything, edge browser is fine and have same extentions

I'm unable to choose my delivery method, Wanted to choose a Saturday delivery, Pay extra obviously, But it only gives me standard delivery, Tried with 10 completely different items to test, Same thing every time.

EDIT

None of my orders are even going through, Phoned up and even though money was taken out orders were not logged.

Which products were you trying to purchase, and do you have any order numbers? Either for the one you placed over the phone, and ideally anything from your previous order attempts online? I'll pass to the devs to look at.

I just talked to customer support on the phone and he said the order system hasn't been properly working since early this morning, The IT peeps are apparently looking into it.
