But it isn't hypocrisy, you're trying to draw some equivalence where there isn't one. They are different positions and it is fine to support one and criticise the other, that really shouldn't be too hard to understand.

If you actually read what I post rather than make stuff up you'll realise you're agreeing with part of the point I'm making...;)

Nothing wrong with criticizing his position, it's the criticism aimed at the fact he said it that's the issue, while cheering Mays same statement about her position.

Anyway, I'm not interested in derailing another thread with you taking comments out of context for some sort of points scoring so I'll leave it at that.

voted earlier even tho my vote will mean nowt as it's a Lab Safe seat . but people fought tooth and nail for the vote in the past so i see it as a civic duty to be done.

if your bored stick your post code in here and do the "how well do you know your constituency quiz" i was way off on some stuff.

ill be so glad when all this is over - i'm sick of my facebook feed and the whole pantomime attitudes of people.

the country is full of moronic children who lack the basic ability to look at anything objectively.

Just been out and voted, hopefully it will make a difference.

I don't really see the Tories losing, the polls are too much in their favour, however it would be nice to see them fail to enlarge their majority (or even lose some seats).

And hopefully my local Labour candidate can regain the seat he lost in 2015, the sad thing there was most people liked him more than his Tory opponent (who's been a disaster), he just lost by ~230 votes purely because of all the older voters who had been brainwashed by Tory owned papers into believing Miliband was a threat to them. Hopefully there is an upper limit on the amount of people who can fall for that and those who vote "anyone but Corbyn" this time will just be the ones who voted "anyone but Miliband" last time, thus not really swinging the vote further, if that happens and more under 35's turn out to vote this time Labour should win here, hopefully.

Voted. Hopefully constituency will stay Labour and May won't get a large majority. Never voted Labour before but it seems like the only thing I can do to take a stand against Maybot.

Couldn't vote LD with Farron in charge.

The sooner we get STV/PR the better. This tactical voting nonsense is bloody annoying.

yep also fracking doesn't cause earthquakes or lead to water pollution even tho there is evidence that suggest it does

See the issue is when people take examples such as 1990s US and current states with poor regulatory practices and extrapolate it into the UK regulatory regime without understanding the differences...;)

I wouldn't pay much attention to the initial polls so far, they were way off during Brexit, showing a win for remain when in fact it went the other way.

yeh and besides most of the torie voters will be able to vote now that the majority have finished work for the day

Was going to vote Labour after being tired of Conservate antics, but Diane Abbot, jesus christ I couldn't live with myself If I helped that imbecile into office.

I'm a geologist. I don't see a problem with fracking if it's done well (aside from our reliance on fossil fuels generally). Most of the problems that have been associated with it are due to it having been poorly planned / designed and badly implemented.

I like many of Labour's policies but as for banning fracking outright - not so much.
