Anyway, I'm not interested in derailing another thread with you taking comments out of context for some sort of points scoring so I'll leave it at that.
But that's who Dowie is, that's what he does. Who are you to deny his reason for existing?

Was going to vote Labour after being tired of Conservate antics, but Diane Abbot, jesus christ I couldn't live with myself If I helped that imbecile into office.
Health reasons being consistently putting your foot in your mouth disease?YOu mean the woman who is probably done for and off due to health reasons?

I'm a geologist. I don't see a problem with fracking if it's done well (aside from our reliance on fossil fuels generally). Most of the problems that have been associated with it are due to it having been poorly planned / designed and badly implemented.
I like many of Labour's policies but as for banning fracking outright - not so much.
Do you actually believe the text in that post?
Well she did keep saying that she's "moved on". She at least got that rightYOu mean the woman who is probably done for and off due to health reasons?
You rockI'm a geologist.
Actually, the polls for Brexit showed an incredibly close race getting tighter by the day until the referendum.I wouldn't pay much attention to the initial polls so far, they were way off during Brexit, showing a win for remain when in fact it went the other way.
yeh and besides most of the torie voters will be able to vote now that the majority have finished work for the day
As long as it's not in their back garden.Exactly my point, speak to any geologist and they will agree with the idea that if done correctly it is VERY beneficial.

From David McWilliam: VERY URGENT: I have been alerted to the fact that a great many Keele students are being turned away from polling stations in the Newcastle-under-Lyme area, even with polling cards. I rang Newcastle Borough Council and they have informed me that the students may be late additions to the electoral register and thus not on the registers sent out to polling stations. Can you please send out a message to our students informing them that if this is the case, they need to go back to the polling stations with their polling cards and ask to speak to the presiding officer. They should tell them to ring the elections office to check that they are on the most up-to-date version. The presiding officer should have the number, but if not, it is 01782 742229.
If students who have been affected contact the local paper (The Sentinel) on 01782 864146 with their names and are willing to go on the record about their experiences, they will investigate.
If they are still being turned away, please ask them to email me with their name and their polling station at [email protected]. If they can remember when they registered and keep hold of their polling cards, that would be great. There needs to be a record of this.
