Youth event? I'm 35 and i'm going :D

You'd be surprised, it's actually not mostly teens and 20 somethings. They go to Download, Reading, V Fest etc.

In the context of the election you are still youth votes. The Tories mostly garner big support from over 50s, and those with less education.

When Scorza tells you the Human Rights Act is yours. Tunney, stop for a moment and take pride.

Damn, I've been rumbled. I am Lord Irvine and I joined OCuk to defend my act. :p

(Also, I'm going to assume that scorza means that the mystery proposal contravenes the ECHR and not the HRA.)

Do you imagine the royal family supported the Trump visit?
I imagine they were perfectly dignified and neutral about it, after all they know it's their duty and whilst doing that duty they've had to meet much worse people than President Trump.

#private eye

Much as I love Private Eye, unless they are specific defined seats that is meaningless. Given that labour improved across the board I doubt it. Labour would have trailed in 200+ seats in 2010 and 200+ seats in 2017 because one of the opposition parties won the seat.

indeed, feel sorry for the woman having to be nice to for example the saudi's.

people don't tend to give the royals credit for what they do, I imagine this world would be very different if the queen put any action to her personal opinions.

So as you agree with scrapping the echr you also agree with Corbyn?
I believe that there should be no higher legal authority in this country than our Parliament. I don't agree that rich people should have their homes requisitioned and re-assigned to your political supporters but if, God forbid, Corbyn becomes PM then he should be able to do it. People should be aware of who and what they are voting for - if as a nation we're stupid enough to vote for a hard-left, marxist party like Corbyn's Labour party then we deserve everything we'll get.

And that is how half the population feel about you voting for May.

The over 50s have 'less education' because higher education was far less accessible than it has become over the past two decades.

Come on. You don't believe in anything. The scope and consistency of the disingenuous stuff you post and your utter lack of sincerity bear damning witness to that.

I've lost track of the troll/spam-and-run posts you've made such as railing at the police you claim ran away from London Bridge. Now this, arguing to deny the Grenfell fire homes by relying on the human rights act Breitbart requires you to eschew everywhere else.

"I believe" - LOLScorza

indeed - sad that you have to point out the obvious confounder to a poster who really ought to know a bit better re: stats
Its got nothing to do with confounding variables. People with less education are more liekly to vote conservative. That is an observation based on recent polling. It is blatantly obvious that older generations had less access to higher education,. I find it sad that you even have to point that out as I assumed you would know better.

For example, adults weigh more than children. You are claiming to discredit that fact by pointing out children are smaller so of course they are lighter. That doesn't stop the fact of adults being heavier on average form being true.

What is it with the rise of "alternative facts' these days, sheeshe.
