Agreed. This is how our parliament is supposed to work after a result such as this. The government is held properly to account and softer policies are introduced that must, by necessity, be closer to the middle ground between the two main parties.

I suppose I hadn't thought about it being relevant if we head back to direct rule.Stormont is not currently in siting. They have until 4pm today I think to sort themselves out at which point NI rule could potentially revert back to westminster which would then make this vote relevant I guess ?
