given that the majority voted against independence, Sturgeon has been using Brexit as an excuse for another referendum so soon and the Tories actually have quite a popular figure up there - Lesbian kick boxer formerly in the army reserves... I'm not really too surprised they're getting some votes

Quite.

I'm not sure at this point whether May or Sturgeon have made the worse calculation!

LOL, it's over.

Torys are winning this with a small majority, having taken Scotland from the SNP.

Labour aren't going to take enough seats in England.

Kinda hope the Torys take the slim win as a sign their plans aren't as widely well received as they'd hoped.

Surely Scotland is going to hurt from this. Would have thought they want higher public spending.

Nope they'll just take it as the electorate needing some "re-education".

Quote from an anonymous LibDem: "If Farron loses his seat, at least nobody will have to knife him. It would be like drowning a puppy."

Current projections suggest the Tories could fail to achieve a majority. If that's true, it's a huge win for Corbyn. I had written him off, but it seems voters hate the Tories too much right now.
