explain why Bodybuilding isn't gay

Every time a bodybuilder guy comes on TV or a movie or whatever, women always go "eww thats so disgusting". I've never once heard a women say she finds sticky-out veins, fat muscles, spray tan and the weird distended muscle-gut attractive. But apparently their is a large gay subculture that does find it attractive.
 
To be honest though, it's normal for men to have some muscle at least. We don't produce testosterone for no reason and that hormone is proven to increase muscle production.

so being a twig = un-manly
having a fair amount body muscle = normal guy
having excessive amounts of muscle = you've got some sort of issues be it self esteem, vanity, etc etc

Can I ask why you are watching these 'gay' bodybuilders on TV so much that so many women have commented on it?
 
It's certainly true that some women do like men who are bodybuilders, but then it's a bit of a niche, you are certainly thinning the number of available fish in the sea.

Just as an example. I caught the ITV show 'Take Me Out' last night where they have like 30 women or something that decide whether they want a date with a guy. A bodybuilder came on and they all buzzed out (not wanting a date) the second he appeared on stage. The majority of women just aren't interested.

It doesn't really surprise me that it's a turn off for most women though. Bodybuilders are very vain, but more than anything, it's not just a hobby, it's a lifestyle that they totally become. Everywhere you go, people know you are a bodybuilder, I think that's another thing that some women won't like.

A friend of mine date a bodybuilder for a couple of years. The pictures of them together on Facebook always seemed strange. He dwarfed her, wearing clothes that barely fit him. It's just weird.
 
if your not being homophobic then why even bring this up ?

whats wrong with being gay ? whats wrong with not being gay ?

i imagine people bodybuild because they enjoy it, not because of their sexual orientation... leave them be

Why does it matter?

They're obviously comfortable with their sexuality, gay or not. Unlike yourself as you need to condemn them for doing what they want to do.

I'm not a bodybuilder, it's not my thing, but I do like lifting weights - for my health and getting stronger and more powerful. So as a result I deal chat to and spend time with a lot of bodybuilders.

Your sort of post is that usual type of inflammatory rubbish that ignorant people spout. Why even bring up homosexuality? It's not your thing, leave it at that, why even have to make such stupid posts? :/ I guess you're slightly effeminate in appearance then ;)

Have to agree to some extend there.

Although i have a friend at uni who is probably what you would call a "body builder" and he has a very nice gf. So you can't generalise to such an extent.

I think the bigger issue is how most of them tend to be completely full of themselves. They are usually the ones looking at themselves in the mirror in the gym whilst grunting. Being fit and healthy with a bit of muscle = Cool. Making it a way of life and drinking protein shakes? No thanks.
 
Funny really, as most of the women I know like muscles.... you've got to stop hanging outside school gates Kwerk, find yourself some real women, or men, which sounds more like your thing ;)
