Ive been quite lucky for the last few days, most of the WU's i downloaded for both machines have been the 574 pointers, its certainly increased my score! :D Unfortunatly I'm now back onto more normal WU's so wont be holding second spot for long. :(
 
Boo hoo :( my Cruncher (CSO2_BlueGeneL) won't finish it's second work unit until Sunday. So that's it for me. 56 points (doubled to 112) in total for the slug out.

I'm going to let it finish rather than delete the WU.

Ahhh unlucky - glad to hear you're letting it finish though, is it a monster WU?

Are you sure they sent alright? Stanford had a couple of key servers down yesterday so some work wasn't able to be uploaded right away and the load on the collection server was extremely high.

It's a WU worth way more than anything i've had before (622 points) and wouldn't you know it.. I get it on an account not in my normal name for a competition it won't qualify for and on a machine powered by a 1Ghz PIII not even set to -advmethods!

It's not a DGromacs - It'd have to be a Gromacs p1165 as that's the only thing worth 622 at the moment

I'm surprised you got it without -advmethods though, weird :confused:
If it definately won't finish in time then you may aswell stop the client now and change your name and hope that it'll go to your proper account (and prove/disprove it for sure)
also you'll be ready for the next WU then :)
 
This WU will take 8 days. I really thought the distribution of WUs was more strongly related to the spec of the machines requesting the WUs.
