F1 2012 - Teams and Drivers - Who goes where?!

I'm totally with MB on helmets. They are a drivers identity when in the car. Constantly changing them is annoying and pointless.

Liking Kimi's helmet though.

:D

Chandhok seems like a really nice, well educated guy, but he's simply not quick enough. If he wasn't from a country Bernie is trying to rape for event hosting fees, and didn't have a wealthy family behind him he wouldn't have even had an F1 drive in the first place.

Well that's 4-5 seasons too late, easily the most past it driver on the grid who's only recent achievement was to rewrite the racing drivers book of excuses for being appalling with the best new entry of "I don't like their power steering system"

Should have gone when Renault dumped him or politely when Toyboata folded...

Petrov will be a laugh though, the most realistic choice for the team as 2 young and hungry drivers are what they need (plus free money on the Caterham-Renault-Larda should help)

Damn straight.
Chandhok shouldnt really be driving an F1 car.

I think he did return for a race or 2 last years and he was ridiculously slow. I accept that without testing, it is accepted that he would've been slow, but not as slow as he was.

He is a good personality to have around though, especially for the viewers. I hope he sticks about and appears on some TV coverage. Being tied with a team would mean he can get some good information.

But I agree, while he was a good driver, he isn't at the level to make it stick in F1.

I wonder how often Vettel will change his this year. He must be putting his helmet designers' kids through university by now.

Last year he changed his helmet every time he won a race, so he could auction each one separately as the helmet he won that specific race in.

So, hopefully Vettel will stick with one helmet design this year. :D

Looks like Rubens Barrichello has joined KV Racing for the upcoming IndyCar season. It's a shame he couldn't find a place in F1 this season.
