F1 Car Launches 2010

It seems Ferrari have lost their ways oh dear

Aaaaah. The Ferrari of old seems to be returning. :)

Heard about that yesterday - from what I gather, they have hit all their targets, but the targets may not have been the right ones or high enough - or something like that...

The Italian press are difficult to follow at the best of times.

Seems like rather groundless speculation when you consider that they won't have even run the car in anger yet (Did they even run it at all at the launch? Last I heard yesterday was likely to be snowed off and they'd run it today instead)

Not running it today either. Having to wait until next week.

This, until testing has happened we can't tell, even then testing isn't always the be all of end all.

Bloody hell can we just fast forward to march. Almost time for new sig.

Added date in for Virgin Racing launch and put the list in order of launch date to make it easier to follow. Going to be interesting week next week with some launches at Valencia on top of the testing :)

Any news on if any of these new cars have KERS onboard? As it's still in the rules to use it they may as well despite the teams agreements.

I can't see it happening and but I will still be sorely disappointed with McLaren if they don't use it :(.

after everything they learnt last year unlike all the other teams they could wipe the floor.

Using KERS will get you kicked out of FOTA.

FOTA has all teams in it now, so being kicked out would be particularly bad for a team as they would be outnumber in any decision making.

Altho, If FOTA starts to look like a waste of time and like it might fall apart, I wouldnt be surprised if some of the teams 'conveniently' has KERS setups they were able to just drop in.

Yeah I kind of hope McLaren do use it, their system did seem superior to the rest, and I assume with the heavier cars the placement of 15kg (or whatever it is) for KERS will have less of an impact for the handling. Less of this nicey nicey FOTA business :p I'm sure they will all fall out over septuple diffusers soon anyway :D
