give it to the LFS team i say, yeah it would explode them into a massive company but good god it would be good

as for polyphony, i reckon they would do it well but the damage thing is an issue, then again LFS aint got damage...

(saying that GT5 had damage apparently so prologue may be the last game where the cars bounce

)

The thing is all these "small" devs cannot afford the F1 rights think bernie values it at dobule the 200 million Sony paid last time. Like was said elsewhere F1 was mentioned in the SCEE gamers day so perhaps there is still one more to come out.

Not at all, but I'd love it to be a cross platform release... and definitely a PC release again in the future.

GT5

rologue was quite a major disappointment even as a tech-demo style of game.

I'll no doubt buy GT5 when it's out, but I seriously hope it's a vast improvement over Prologue.

And what's this about Prologue having damage? I can't say I've ever noticed it, even with slamming my car around :confused:

I remember hearing ages ago that GT5 will probably have it, but never heard Prologue would??

Anyway, back on topic. The last F1 game on the PS3 was extremely good, felt very nice and looked wonderful too!

My only gripe about F1 games is that they always tend to come out at the end of a season, so after 2 months or so of play the drivers/teams/cars/liveries are all out of date!

The prospect of racing against 19 other Randoms in an on line F1 race is rather appealing, even though the first corner would undoubtedly end up in painfully predictable and truly monumental carbon fibre laced pile up.

It would have to be cross platform too. This whole platform exclusive nonsense is terribly short sighted, imho.

ea's last F1 game F1Challenge was very good
still being modded and played with today on the PC
ea will probably lease out the making of the game maybe to ISI again like before so I hope EA get it

F1 sucks donkeys **** & open wheelers make for crap online racing, Stupid weak **** bits of plastic breaking off as soon as you look at another car let alone rub doors which you don't have, Complete crap & boring crap at that. I say ignore Bernie big wallet & let F1 die the death it should have done ages ago.
Saloon car racing is the way forward for Online play & spectator viewing. You just cannot beat popping in to a show room choosing a car tricking it up painting it then taking it online to rub doors with others. Forza2 has it down on the 360 & RFactor/LFS has it down on PC.
F1 can die with Bernie he looks about dead anyway.
