why do they have the 5 season no buying engine rule. it's retarded. Now got 2 teams using great engines and teh rest of us can not respond at all. due to this stupid rule.
 
Yeah but think about it... you're in the same league as them and they've been playing longer. Ergo, they suck and you don't.

They've sucked for 4 seasons, you're only behind on 1.

acid just dont spend any money on good tyres / chassis or engine... save money develop.

i "think" the 4 season rule to buy engine is to stop new ppl purchasing a 6million 220 engine and going bankrupt in their 1st or 2nd season then quitting the game.

At least now you have a firm grasp of the mechanics behind the game judging by your races completed to those in your current league. Save money, invest wisely, dominate next season.

there is a post about this in the section on custom designs, its to do with how the game code decompiles and then recompiles the image as it checks it. i think its todo with the colour pallet you are using, but cant remember which is the correct one.

Yeah i sorta disagree wit hthe 4 season rule cos by end of season two i was making enough money to buy a decent engine without fear of going bankrupt, but by season 4 my engine was already so developed i did not need anything better
 
Sourced an engine for next yeah, kind of wishing I didn't to save money. However hopping to get last chasis component done by end of season, that should offset the cost.
 
The degradation on Hard tyres is better than soft, they last longer. However, the time gained is minimal and most agree its not worth the grip loss.
 
Acidhell, you need to save the image as PNG-8. They strip the images to look for malicious code, then when it recompiles, it recompiles as PNG-8.

yep, totally down for a few hours. Luckily already qualified.

How does holiday mode work on this game? does it carry on playing for you? that's what it appears to suggest?

Yeah, make sure Account Watcher is on, and it will qualify for you. You just fill in a few settings.

I've been using it for the past few races. As I wasn't at all competitive I decided to go into money saving mode, and develop my chassis.

I'm getting there, but it's not going to be ready for next season, so will probably be a mediocre season next, and then a really good chassis.
