Long stint in Hamilton
13:33 - Leis Hamilton is making a very long run. The McLaren driver read on his pit board that he had twenty laps to do before he can begin his inlap and he already has three behind. And with the heavy MP4-25 Hamilton also improves his time.

id love to know what massa is on tbh...

Hmm... so what can we gather from the testing so far?

Schumacher looks to be still quick (although I think the comparison to Roseberg was flattered by track conditions), but Mercedes née Brawn don't look to have kept up their pace from last season. Looks like Ferrari have the best car out there, with Sauber and McLaren not far behind.

Will be interesting to see what pace Red Bull can show.

gotta love google translate

Kubica announces further from the front

16:50 - Robert Kubica is no longer in the rear. The Pool occupied the sixth place, but took one seconds off his best time and climbed two places. Sebastien Buemi is also harder, but he carries with ten minutes still to go the red lantern

LOL

Hamilton's in the car today. He's 1.3s quicker than Paffet was yesterday - 1:12.2 v 1:13.5. Obviously we don't know fuel loads or parts being tested so that's a little skewed.

Much more of a positive day today for mclaren did a solid 26 lap stint in the 12's with his fastest of the day in that batch.

Massa set his fastest on a much shorter stint of 11 if memory serves and his long run pace was in or around the 15's.

Looking much better then last year when macca hit the track a couple of seconds a lap slower then everyone else and i dont think at any point hamilton pushed the car either.

One can hope... Id also hazard a guess that the mclaren will be more worried about heavy fuel load car balance and tire wear with hamilton than glory hunting for fast times. Massa needs the confedence boost, Lewis doesnt.

because rubens knows full well even on equal terms schumacher will crush you! and destroy your motivation.

Rubens knows full well theres no such thing as equal terms.

The sauber times look good, then again they need a sponsor. Will be nice if they do have a really quick car, right after BMW walked away along with Kubica :D

I hope MS has a car that atleast allows him to challenge Alonso, Hamilton and Vettel. I can't see all four teams building race winners.

The 25 has a much longer wheelbase then last years and isnt put off balance by the kers system so i cant expect balance being anymore of an issue for them then any other team.

I wouldnt be surprised if massa has been topping the sheets purely for confidence and to try and dampen the ferrari rumour of late.

That said this test is more about seeing if the cars actually work i wouldnt expect them to be race pace worthy until after this batch of data has been looked over for the next test.
