Was getting confused for a minute as to how lotus were fastest. Then realised I'd forgotten about stupid name changes... Confusing...

Easy to remember now as there's only 1 Lotus, and they're bad Lotus.
As much as I'd love to see Kimi do well, I'd also love to see Dany Bahar eat **** and die... I'm so torn.
At least the cars sound better this year.
Ferrari's nose looks even more fugly now imo

I just can't get over how bloody ugly they are (apart from the McLaren).

Renault = bad Lotus
Lotus = good Lotus.
Over the Winter, some changes happened
good Lotus changed their name to Caterham
Renault Lotus kept their name as Lotus.
I think that about sums it up...I think.
I can't say that I am big fan of Lotus, so if I'm wrong hopefully a Lotus efficienado will come and clear it up.

2011
Renault GP renamed to Lotus Renault GP - has NO connection to the Lotus that ran in 2010, many days in court proved that. It's just a sponsorship deal. Dany Bahar claims all rights to Team Lotus heritage, and in fact pretty much any use of the word Lotus for the past 2000 years it seems.
Lotus Racing renamed to Team Lotus - Tony bought the rights to the Team Lotus name. Bitchslaps Dany Bahar in court and proved that he has all rights to Team Lotus heritage and to call the car a Lotus.
2012
Lotus Renault GP renamed to Lotus F1 Team - still only a sponsorship deal.
Team Lotus renamed to Caterham F1 Team - Tony bought Caterham in 2011, and in return for a sizeable chunk of Malaysia Airlines agrees to stop using the Team Lotus name.
So yes, there is only one Lotus on the grid this year. But it's Group Lotus not Team Lotus - and thats the bad one.

It sounds so much better without the off-throttle blowing.
It does mean I won't be able to do my impression of it anymore though.
