*** FA Cup - Qtr Finals - 12th & 13th March 2011 ***

The red card for pogo was sadly completely legit. There's a new FIFA directive that says if a player feints during a run up to a penalty they must be cautioned and a retake ordered. Bit harsh maybe but it was in the rules.

I'm leaving the autocorrect for pogba in for the lulz.

Wish i watched the FA Youth cup earlier, sounded class even though we went out. And awful reffing to both teams apparently and Liverpool player leaving the pitch with a bloody nose :D

Would have been interesting to know if the ref would have booked him had he realised he was already on a booking.

And I've just seen the FA Cup draw. Does us no favours at all! Now we've either got to catch Spurs (or whoever for 5th place), with the EL, hope City win the EL and finish 5th or be runners up to City in the EL and them finishing in the top 5 :o

In isolation, the ~£15m from the EL isn't all that important but when you take into account the further ~£15m on top that the top 4 will earn, it becomes a lot more important.

Havent seen any highlights as i was at the game but i turned around to my mate and said "hes given that because hes found out that he cokced up West hams goal"

it happens all the time. Its nice to get a little lucky as we have been hammerd by poor decisions this season. Its been unreal at times

Well your goal shouldn't have counted either :p. Also maybe it's just the more I see it, but a couple of the replays look like he stretched his arm out, but controlled with his shoulder. Not sure though. Bad officiating allround either way.

Was really suprised by the result yesterday, even more so that Fergie's tactics were spot-on. Although to be fair beating Arsenal is a well-practiced tactic for Manjoo and Chelski, as mentioned.

Gibson actually dribbling around Arsenal's midfield? I would say there must've been a blue moon but I don't want to get Bizkid excited.

Anyways suprises all round, L'Arse let themselves down again with a lucklustre performance and United steam on in the Sweet FA Cup.

I would normally be wary of saying this gives us the edge in the coming league confrontation, but in the case of Arsenal I think it's justified as they don't hit me as particularly strong mentally. Most of the reason Wenger raves after losses is to protect the fragile egos of "the babies" (Evra: 2010); better to lose to fortune than a greater will and all that.

I'm more worried about Pepe more than anything, Fernando was a blow, but don't want me man crush to leave =[

I don't think he'd have booked him actually. Bit of discretion wouldn't have hurt but hey ho. Coady looked ok until the fracas at least. Could have been more sent off in the end in part the players are to blame but I'm not too fussed in the youth teams

Coady's a real prospect but a bit like Tunnicliffe for your lot, it will be interesting to see how he does when he makes the step up. Both have a real advantage at the moment due to their size/strength, they won't have that when they're against senior players.

Coady, Sterling, Suso and Robinson (didn't play today) are the 4 players we've got that have a real chance of making it. There's a couple of other decent players that might make it else where but those 4 look like they could make the step up with us.

Hahaha owned! :D

"There are two side to your bed Craig, I wonder which one you got out of."

He has been constantly moaning the whole game Craig Burley!

Sounds like Reading played really well, and their gk made a few decent saves

Wembley will be madness with opposing fans , lets see who's fit/available come April
